I believe that all
most important learning in yoga, martial arts or any other lifestyle
changing art forms happen through 'Direct Experience' rather
than borrowed teaching or experience of others. And above all
learning is 'GRACE OF GOD'. However to qualify for GRACE, one must
first believe in the being, and centre oneself to the consciousness
which is the greatest teacher.
When one learns to surrender to the higher purpose of the art, the
form just flows in. The learning then becomes deep and ingrained
into our system.
Reading books,
attending lectures and workshops can be an basic part of learning.
However, it cannot be fruitful unless one commits to a disciplined routine
that helps one to realize goals and ultimately the truth. Each one's
experience is unique. It is so important for us to put in our best
effort before we expect results. You don't have to know every art.
Just practice what you learn with deep intent, love, commitment and
accuracy. The results will arrive in due time.
I being an eclectic, have been inspired by many traditional art forms
across the world and have included them to make a balanced form of
physical and spiritual practice.
